How far along? 34 weeks 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: +28 lbs.
Size: Cantaloupe, or almost 18 inches and 4.75 lbs.
Baby Development: "Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies." (From babycenter.com)
Movement: Lots and lots of movement these days. This week I also felt hiccups for the first time.
Food cravings: None really.
Food aversions: Nothing anymore.
What I miss: Not having round ligament pain, not snissing, alcohol, a more flexible wardrobe, deli meat.
Stretch marks?: None. I do believe my linea nigra has appeared, but it's pretty light.
Maternity clothes?: I wear maternity pants and a mix of maternity/non-maternity shirts.
Sleep?: Better than last week, thank goodness.
Belly button?: More flat than out.
What are you looking forward to this week?: Uh...not much going on this week..
