Ah yes, today is a "cold day" as I like to call it, since snow is not the factor. I spent some of the morning surfing the internet, in hopes that the word "surfing" would warm things up a bit. No such luck. As some of you know, Kev and I have decided to cloth diaper. Before you call us crazy, do a bit of research. The 2009 version of cloth diapering does not mean taking the ol' rags down to the river to beat them on rocks. And...baby gets to wear these!
...HOW CUTE?!? I started my diaper (cover) collection and purchased two of these today for the low, low price of $8/each from Comfy Cozy Diapers! I bought them in blue and yellow. Super excited :) I can't wait to get some "fluffy mail" in a few days!In the world of my Escape, it's done! Hallelujah! BUT, I can't get it back yet. The insurance adjustor has to look at it before they release it to me. The auto body shop was having a hard time contacting the adjustor. The first one retired, and then another one took over my claim, and couldn't be reached. So after a phone call from me to the insurance company yesterday, hopefully things are moving along again.

Oh my gosh, we're planning on cloth diapering too!!! After doing lots and lots of researching I think I finally came up with what I want to use. We're going to use prefolds and Thirsties covers during the day when I'm at home and then when we're out and probably at night we'll use the bumgenius 3.0 one size diapers. The BG's are more expensive but you don't need to buy different sizes. Have you heard of snappis to keep your prefolds together? I guess you're the lucky one here, you can hear about my failures and successes and learn from them :) Well at least for a couple weeks. All diapers are on my Amazon registry and I also just registered for a diaper sprayer and a couple wet bags. I plan on using reusable wipes too (you're doing a load of laundry already so why not?) but will maybe just make my own instead of buying them.
First of all you're adorable, second of all 9 weeks PP my line is WAY darker than yours! lol and thirdly I love the diaper covers! We use bum genius (Which we love) but they just come in boring solid colors!
